Our Teaching Format
The teaching format.

3 hours language training in a formal teaching environment.

Light lunch provided and taken with the teaching staff member.

After lunch, until around 4pm, the tutor will go “out and about” with the students.

These afternoon outings are designed to challenge and develop the students’ language skills affording
opportunities to practise speaking and listening.

Relaxation and exploration are also important objectives. There is a plethora of National Trust country
estates, two World Heritage sites and the beautiful Roman City of Bath, also a World Heritage site, all
within easy reach.
A teaching methodology based on respectful encouragement to allow even the most reticent student to feel
confident enough to become an active participant in the learning process.

An ancient english market town which is notable for the politeness of its inhabitants. Marlborough is the choice
location for the weekend homes of wealthy London residents. Politeness and respectability are the norm.

An integrated approach to teaching, recreational and tourist activities. This approach facilitates the teaching
staff in setting tasks that allow our students to actively interact with local residents.

Each student is presented with a course text book and a certificate on successful completion of the course.

What makes this approach unique?
