Short duration English language courses tailored to the needs of Japanese travellers and Japanese language school
students. Our courses are delivered by native english speakers in an english town renowned for the politeness of its
inhabitants, freedom from crime and the world famous Marlborough College.
Marlborough is considered one of the most beautiful
towns in England. Two of her Majesty The Queen's grand
children have been educated at Marlborough College.
Because Marlborough is such a delightful town many of
the nation's elite have second homes in and around the
town.

Cardinal Thomas Wolsey was ordained in St Peter's
Church in Marlborough in March 1498 prior to becoming
chaplain to King Henry VIII.

St Peter's church has since been converted to an art
gallery and coffee shop. The altar at which Cardinal
Wolsey was ordained remains.
Marlborough is a delightfully self
contained market town surrounded
by some of England's most
glorious countryside.

A wonderful place in which to effect
a short period of language training.
The town has the widest high street
in England. This high street is
populated with many wonderful
shops including the historic
"Merchant's House" together with a
varied selection of restaurants.

Our clients enjoy a calm and
friendly learning atmosphere and
are tutored in classes small
enough for everybody to have
individual attention and to
experience a very real sense of
belonging.

Our courses are designed to
encourage each student to interact
with local people and to develop a
sense of cultural awareness. The
freedom to ineteract with local
people is an important element in
our teaching philosophy. A light
lunch is provided each day which is
taken with the teaching staff
affording an opportunity for social
contact.
The Ivy House Hotel circa 1707
